Terms & Conditions

This agreement is between yourself and Katriona Forrester, trading as KF-Events. Please note the following terms and conditions as these constitute the contract between us.

1. Booking and payment

Your booking becomes valid only when you have paid the deposit.
The deposit is non-returnable, if you cancel for any reason.
Full payment is due by 2 weeks before the workshop starting day.
All bank and money transfer charges are payable by the participant.

2. What is included in the price?

The fee is for the tuition on all the advertised days of the workshop. No food, accommodation or travel expenses are included.

3. Alterations

We will make every reasonable effort to maintain the advertised arrangements. We reserve the right to make changes if necessary, and will inform you if this is the case.

4. Attendance

We expect all participants to attend all workshop sessions.

5. Cancellation by you

If you need to cancel a booking for whatever reason, the following terms apply:

• The deposit cannot be repaid to you.
• Other fees already paid can be refunded only if you send a medical certificate or similar legally valid document.
• After the workshop has begun, there can be no repayment of any fees for cancellation or withdrawal from the workshop.

6. Cancellation by us or 3rd party

If the arrangements and/or facilities such as the venue or the teacher are cancelled by a 3rd party, we will use all reasonable endeavours to provide a suitable alternative, but we are not obliged and cannot guarantee to do so.
If the advertised workshop is cancelled by us for any reason, all the payments you have made will be returned to you, including your deposit.

7. Liability

We do not accept any liability for any matter beyond our control and we will not in any circumstances be responsible for any consequential or indirect loss that you or any third party may incur such as travel or accommodation costs if a course is cancelled.

8. Insurance

Personal insurance is the responsibility of the participant. You need to ensure that you are of a sufficient standard of fitness and ability to partake in the workshop. Please speak to us if you are unsure about this.
We will not be responsible for any accident or injury (save where it can be shown it results from our negligence) and you should take out your own insurance to cover this.
We cannot accept any responsibility for failure of your travel arrangements, nor for loss or theft of property or valuables whilst you attend the workshop.

9. Governing Law

The contract between us will be governed by the laws of Switzerland.
